22 Apr FetchMD Expands Urgent Care Telehealth Services During COVID-19
FetchMD is committed to providing fast, affordable, and convenient care in the comfort of home for all your minor urgent care needs. Since the coronavirus pandemic started in March, we temporarily moved our on-demand house call services in Austin and San Antonio to telehealth visits only in an effort to safeguard our customers and providers.
And we’ve got some exciting news for you. FetchMD telehealth has now expanded its services to the entire state of Texas! And we’ve partnered with Aetna to make it even more affordable for their members.
Many of the same illnesses and conditions our healthcare providers treat at home or work can be accomplished with telehealth video visits. It’s still just as simple as before. Use the FetchMD app to request a telehealth visit and one of our friendly, professional FetchMD providers will see you virtually!
What types of minor urgent care conditions can FetchMD diagnose and treat using telehealth?
Respiratory conditions including cough, cold, flu, and upper respiratory infections are some of the most common conditions we treat using telehealth.
Ear, nose and throat ailments
Ailments affecting the ear, nose, and throat such as seasonal allergies, sinus infections, earaches, and sore throat can be diagnosed using telehealth.
Our healthcare providers are able to diagnose and treat certain skin conditions such as insect bites, rashes, and skin infections.
Other urgent conditions
Other urgent conditions such as urinary tract infections, pink eye, and tummy trouble can be addressed with telehealth.
We are committed to continuing to deliver the FetchMD experience you expect during these challenging times. Once it is safe to do so, FetchMD healthcare providers will resume on-demand house call visits in Austin and San Antonio. In the meantime, our telehealth services are available seven days a week across Texas for all your minor urgent care needs.
We encourage all of our customers to stay home to stop the spread of COVID-19 while practicing social distancing, frequent hand washing and wearing face coverings when appropriate. And don’t forget to share the FetchMD app with your family and friends!
